Or, leave steam cloud on, open the game to the title screen, and then alt+tab out to windows, browse to the save folder location and delete all the files in there (hopefully the game EXE does not have a lock on them), and then use steam force to stop the game. It'll sync to cloud so that there are no saves, and it should start a fresh save file
