After not using it a long time, the blue switches are pretty obnoxious in my opinion. The brown switches provide you with the "bump" from the blue switches without the earrape ;) In comparison to my other keyboard with Gateron Browns, the Keychron K Pro Browns are way smoother and refined. EDIT: no it just sits there.
i don't think you will notice much difference in terms of sound, especially if its lubed (and filmed - film is optional). in terms of feel i would recommend looking at a force curve for each switch. there is one for yellows and there should be one for cherry reds. should give a rough idea of feel.
This color represents that switch type or “feel.” Most mechanical switches are cloned off of the original Cherry MX brand and generally switch colors have a consistent design and feel across companies. A Cherry MX Red is a linear switch, and you will find a Gateron Red, Outemu Red, Kailh Red, etc., to also be linear switches.
The ROG RX Red switch. The ROG RX Blue switch. Another characteristic of the ROG RX switches that is worth mentioning is how little wobble they have. Thanks to the unique hollow square stem design with four “corner latches” – as well as the scissor-style stabiliser – both the RX Red and RX Blue switches are incredibly stable.
The biggest difference is the tactile "clickiness" really. Reds can be very very quiet if you prevent bottoming out. I can't say which I prefer yet (just got the Ducky shine 4 with red switches) but the transition was not bad at all. Go to a computer store and play around with different switches. Lawkodi.
